How the calculation works
Every game turns the camera by a fixed angle per mouse count, the "yaw", multiplied by your sensitivity. Two setups are equivalent when they turn by the same angle for the same movement.
Valorant sensitivity = game sensitivity × game yaw ÷ 0.07, at the same DPI. If you change DPI, also multiply by old DPI ÷ new DPI. Your cm/360, the mouse distance for a full turn, stays the same.
Supported games
| Game | Yaw (°/count) | To Valorant |
|---|---|---|
| Counter-Strike 2 | 0.022 | × 0.314 |
| Apex Legends | 0.022 | × 0.314 |
| Overwatch 2 | 0.0066 | × 0.094 |
| Call of Duty | 0.0066 | × 0.094 |
| Marvel Rivals | 0.0175 | × 0.25 |
Fortnite and Rainbow Six Siege are not supported: their sensitivity depends on field of view or a non-linear scale, so a simple conversion would be wrong.
Frequently asked questions
What about scoped sensitivity?
Keep the scoped sensitivity multiplier at 1 in Valorant, like about 4 in 5 pros: the conversion above covers your base sensitivity.
What is eDPI?
Your sensitivity multiplied by your DPI. It lets you compare players with different mice: 0.3 at 800 DPI and 0.6 at 400 DPI give the same eDPI, 240.
Is the conversion exact?
For horizontal movement, yes: a full turn is identical. It may feel slightly different because field of view varies between games, so give yourself a few matches to adjust.
Do I need to change anything in Windows?
Turn off "Enhance pointer precision" in the mouse settings: this acceleration breaks any sensitivity calculation.
