Verdict

If you are looking for an Aimlabs alternative for Valorant, keep this in mind: the two tools complement each other more than they replace each other. Aimlabs is free on Steam,[1] but its Sensitivity Finder 2.0 sits inside the Aimlabs+ subscription, at $7 to $10 a month.[2] [3] EsportManager is free, gives you 25 tokens at signup and charges 5 tokens per sensitivity test, with no purchase possible for now.[4] [5]

The real difference is elsewhere. Aimlabs ships an exercise engine inside its own software. EsportManager ships no exercises: it sets your daily program from the intensity you choose for the week, measures your level on a benchmark and tells you what to replay in KovaaK's.[6] Pick Aimlabs if you want to buy nothing else. Pick EsportManager if you already own KovaaK's, or if you want a measured plan instead of random drills.

The two products in one sentence

On Steam, Aimlabs presents itself as a free-to-play aim training platform, with a Valorant Training Center that recreates the game's maps 1:1 and works on crosshair placement and angles.[7] Riot Games announced in 2022 that it became a minority shareholder of Statespace, the studio behind Aim Lab.[8]

EsportManager isolates your aim, measures it and tells you what to work on next. The benchmark has three levels, from Iron to Celestial.[9] Each day's routine targets your weakest subcategories first.[10] The coach that orders it is deterministic, with no AI.[11]

Every cell in the Aimlabs column comes from its Steam page or from aimlabs.com. The sources are listed at the bottom of the page.

The same week, on both sides

Take a player who trains five days in the week at the Hardcore intensity: 3 sessions of 20 minutes a day, so 60 minutes of aim work a day and 300 minutes over the five days, plus 20 deathmatches a day.[13] [15] On EsportManager the cost is zero. The 25 tokens cover 5 sensitivity tests, because each test costs 5.[4]

On the Aimlabs side, the same player trains for free with the base game. If they want Sensitivity Finder 2.0, they take Aimlabs+. Over six months at $7 a month, the commitment reaches $42.[2] For a single month they pay $10.[2] These are public prices, not a promise of progress.

A word on sensitivity, since that is the sore point with Aimlabs. The EsportManager Sensitivity Finder measures your sens with a two-phase browser test using raw mouse input, then converts the result to Valorant sensitivity and eDPI.[16] You pay no subscription for it: you spend tokens you already received, and the starting balance is enough to redo the test several times if your mouse or DPI changes.[4]

The point to keep: without a subscription, you can train on both. The difference is the plan. On EsportManager the week is written for you. On Aimlabs the guided programs are in the paid plan.[3]

When Aimlabs is the better choice

Pick Aimlabs over EsportManager in these cases, without hesitation.

  • You do not want to buy any other software. Aimlabs is free on Steam, KovaaK's is not.[1]
  • You want a ready exercise engine in the same program. EsportManager does not provide one.[6]
  • You want to practice on 1:1 recreations of Valorant maps with crosshair placement and angle exercises. EsportManager does not cover that content.[7]
  • You value a publisher with a declared link to Riot Games: the 2022 investment is public.[8]

Pick Aimlabs too if you are starting out and want to shoot targets tonight, without installing anything else. A tool that needs KovaaK's for its benchmark is not built for that evening, and that is fine.

One doubt stays open: recent reviews sit at 66%, against 90% overall.[14] Read the recent Steam reviews before you commit to Aimlabs+.

How to move from one to the other

You can keep both. Here is how, in order.

  1. Keep your Aimlabs install for free warm-ups or the Valorant maps.[7]
  2. Install KovaaK's for the benchmark and the routine, because EsportManager sends your exercises there.[6]
  3. Sign in with Google and play the Novice benchmark, 12 scenarios.[17]
  4. Choose an intensity: Challenger, Elite or Hardcore.[13]
  5. Run the Sensitivity Finder for 5 tokens, or open the public converter to compare your sens to the pro median of 240 eDPI.[4] [18]

What you keep: your sensitivity, your habits and your Aimlabs history stay with Aimlabs. What does not transfer: scores on one side are not imported into the other.

Frequently asked questions

Is Aimlabs free for Valorant?

The base game is free on Steam.[1] Sensitivity Finder 2.0, the automated coach and the daily programs are for Aimlabs+ subscribers.[3] On EsportManager the Sensitivity Finder stays available with the tokens you get at signup.[4]

How much does Aimlabs+ cost?

Between $7 and $10 a month depending on the length: $10 for one month, $7 a month for six months.[2] EsportManager sells nothing today.[5]

Does EsportManager replace Aimlabs?

No, they do different jobs. Aimlabs has its own scenario engine inside the game. EsportManager plans and measures exercises you play elsewhere, in KovaaK's.[6]

Do I need to buy KovaaK's to use EsportManager?

For the benchmark and the routine, yes: the scenarios are played in KovaaK's on PC.[6] The Sensitivity Finder and the sensitivity converter work without it.[16]

Are the Aimlabs Steam reviews good?

Overall yes, with 90% positive, but recent reviews drop to 66%.[14] The complaints are mostly about monetization, a point this page does not settle for you.
